How to prepare Karupatti Nei Mysore Pak at home  with Podhini Pure Ghee. It’s a very simple and easy recipe.


Karupatti Nei Mysore Pak is the most aromatic and delicious sweet for the major functions like Diwali.


It is easy to prepare with just three ingredients – Podhini ghee, Palm Jaggery (karupatti), Gram Flour, and nuts.

Ingredients for preparing Karupatti Nei Mysore Pak:

Karupatti / Palm jaggery 1.5 cups

kadalai Maavu / Gram Flour 1 cup

Podhini Pure Ghee 1.5 Cups

Water required amount


Karupatti Nei Mysore Pak Preparation Method:


  • Roast gram flour for 2-3 minutes until aroma comes out without getting it burnt and transfer it to a bowl
  • Add ½ cup Pure Cow ghee to the roasted gram flour and Mix it well  until it turns into a fine paste.
  • Take  karupatti / Palm jaggery in a pan and Add ¾ cup water
  • Switch on the stove until karupatti / Palm Jaggery melts and once done filter the impurities.
  • Transfer the melted karupatti / Palm Jaggery to another pan



  • Now,Again start  boil the karupatti / Palm jaggery in a low flame till it reaches one string consistency. When you touch the syrup with your thumb and index finger You should able to get one string.
  • Now add besan flour Pure Desi ghee paste to melted karupatti and Mix well nicely
  • Start adding ¼ cup Podhini pure Cow ghee in  intervals, Once the mixture becomes thick idly batter consistency and starts leaving the pan switch off the flame.
  • Transfer the mixture to a pure Cow ghee greased plate and Spread evenly , Let this rest for 15 minutes.
  • After 15 mins ,Either invert the plate or cut them into squares in the plate itself.

Sweet ghee karupatti Mysore pak is now ready to serve..
